ReelCreator

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ReelCreator (“ReelCreator”, “we”, “us”) accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you connect a Google or YouTube account to publish videos you produce in ReelCreator. ReelCreator is operated by an individual operator and is currently used to publish to the operator's own YouTube channel(s).

Information we access from Google / YouTube

When you choose to connect a YouTube channel, you grant ReelCreator access through Google's OAuth 2.0 consent screen to the following scope:

We do not request access to your Google contacts, email, files, or any data unrelated to publishing the videos you produce in ReelCreator.

How we use the information

We do not use Google/YouTube user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning or AI models. Uploads default to private.

ReelCreator's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

Your OAuth authorization (including the refresh token and the OAuth client secret) is stored encrypted at rest and is used only on the server to perform the actions above. Access is restricted to the operator's own infrastructure. We retain only what is needed to provide the publishing feature.

Data retention and deletion

Sharing with third parties

We do not share your Google/YouTube user data with third parties except as strictly necessary to provide the feature (for example, transmitting your video and metadata to the YouTube Data API at your request), to comply with applicable law, or with your consent.

YouTube API Services

ReelCreator uses YouTube API Services. By using the publishing feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

Children

ReelCreator is not directed to children. Where applicable, videos are published with the appropriate “made for kids” setting that you select.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
